This desolate and elegant strain represents an essential trade route between the Middle East, Central Asia and East region where the old Cannabis traditions were created and maintained for hundreds of years. In sum, Hindu Kush is the place of origin of the pure Indica or Afghan genotypes and where the black hashish was originally made. This specimen was selected for its quality and uniformity over countless generations and always crossed within its own genetic background. This strain is able to produce very solid seedlings and is very suitable for indoor cultivations. The plants are small but potent acquiring dark green colors and developing serrated Indica leaves. This specimen is able to grow on outdoors but in warm climates below 42º N. It flowers in a solid and safe manner producing quick harvests of thick buds even for beginner growers. Hindu Kush releases a sooth scent of sandalwood tinged with the sweet aroma of charas (traditional hashish). Its effect is very powerful for a non-hybrid strain providing a pleasant, positive body feelings typical of the famous Indicas grown at high altitudes. Nonetheless, Hindu Kush will also hit your brain in a relaxing manner being mostly contemplative in opposite to the brain-numbing of the later hybrid Indica, Afghani and Skunk.
