One of the 2021 novelties in feminised seeds for collectors is the Harlequin CBD bred by 00 Seeds seedbank. To create this variety, the 00 Seeds breeders carried out a process of stabilization of the best specimens of Harlequin CBD until they got the best version. This is a strain that stands out for its fruity aroma, as well as for its ability to generate non-psychoactive phytocannabinoids, such as CBD.

What is Harlequin CBD like?

Harlquin CBD seeds are able to produce Sativa-dominant plants, thus, according to the 00 Seeds bank, this strain has vigorous vegetative growth, but short stature in the case of indoor gardening (79-90 cm). In outdoor gardening, it is reported that Harlequin CBD can grow taller, staying in the range of medium-sized strains (150-180 cm).

Indoor flowering of this strain lasts around 55-60 days, which is a short flowering cycle for this type of strain. Outdoors, on the other hand, this strain can complete its life cycle about two weeks after the end of summer. 

Harlequin CBD's production capacity

According to 00 Seeds, one of the most noteworthy aspects of Harlequin CBD is the yield capacity. For a short flowering strain, it can produce quite generous yields. Production tests on this strain found it to be capable of yielding up to 550 grams of crop per square metre. Outdoors, on the other hand, average yields have not yet been announced for this strain.

The Harlequin CBD strain has the ability to generate large amounts of cannabidiol (CBD), a popular cannabinoid without causing psychoactive effects. Cannabinoid tests performed on this strain determine a presence of up to 22% CBD and less than 0.5% THC.

Sweet and fruity aromas are the most predominant in the organoleptic properties of Harlequin CBD. The terpene profile of this strain can contain high concentrations of linalool and myrcene.
