The Moby Dick marijuana strain is a sativa-dominant feminized hybrid, perhaps one of the most famous strains ever created, bringing together the best of White Widow and the original Haze varieties. This is a very psychoactive strain and can now be found in Barney's Farm's select catalogue.

What is Moby Dick like?

The Moby Dick strain is a mainly sativa plant, which grows very tall, especially outdoors, where it demands a lot of space, a lot of water and a lot of soil to develop its full potential, growing up to 3.5 metres of height. Surprisingly it is a variety that can be controlled to grow indoors as well.

The flowering time takes around 60-70 days indoors, offering very abundant yields. Outdoors it is usually harvested about 2-3 weeks after the end of the summer.

It is a very vigorous strain for which it is advisable to control the pH of the soil, it is recommended do not exceed 6.5 in order to avoid problems with the iron absorption.

Moby Dick Production 

According to Barney's Farm seedbank, Moby Dick's maximum production is 700gr/m2 indoors and up to 2kg per plant outdoors.

Most common effects

The Moby Dick seeds are capable of producing plants with THCV, a very rare to find cannabinoid that is usually only present in the equatorial sativas. This compound is generated by the plants as a protection from the powerful UV rays and is capable of intensifying the effects of THC.

Moby Dick's effect is described by Barney's Farm as very intense and cerebral, psychoactive and long lasting.
