The flowering period is normal, taking about 70 days to flower indoors. Outdoors, it is usually harvested two weeks after the end of summer. Once in this phase, Gelato #45 changes its green colour to an explosion of vivid colours, with reddish and orangey hues.

The height of Gelato #45 can reach 120cm indoors, while outdoors it grows to around or over two metres.
