Permanent Marker produces compact, vigorous plants with a balanced structure and excellent yields of dense, resinous flowers. Its controlled growth makes it a very convenient choice for indoor cultivation, while outdoors it can reach a considerable size under favorable conditions. During flowering, its buds become remarkably dense and are completely covered in trichomes.

Parent Strains of This Variety

This variety was created by crossing Biscotti and Sherbert BX1, which was then crossed with Jealousy. Biscotti contributes its characteristic sweet undertones and compact structure; Sherbert BX1 adds creamy and fruity notes; and Jealousy brings potency, abundant resin production, and a terpene complexity typical of the best genetics in the Cookies family.

What makes Permanent Marker unique?

Its combination of flavors and aromas has made it one of the most popular strains of the new American school. The terpene profile blends caramel sweetness, herbal notes, fresh pepper, and a distinct fuel-like undertone that intensifies during curing. All of this is accompanied by THC levels that can reach 28%.

Yield

Permanent Marker completes its flowering cycle in approximately 55 to 65 days. Indoors, it can yield between 500 and 550 g/m², while outdoors it produces harvests of 500 to 600 grams per plant. It is typically harvested in October, when it reaches its peak of aroma and resin production.

Its organoleptic profile stands out for an intense combination of sweet caramel, herbal notes, hints of pepper, and a powerful fuel-like undertone. When the buds are broken open, deep and complex aromas emerge that linger for a long time both on the nose and on the palate.
