what is Velvet Glue like?

Velvet Glue has a fast growth and a great capacity of adaptation during the whole cultivation. From the first weeks it develops a robust and vigorous structure, responding especially well when it has enough space and a balanced nutrition. During flowering, it produces voluminous and very resinous flowers, maintaining a homogeneous structure between the different phenotypes.

This variety is born from the cross between the legendary Gorilla Glue #4 and a selected phenotype of Banana Shack. The combination provides high resin production, great vegetative vigor and very attractive terpene profiles, combining the characteristic intensity of GG4 with the fruity and exotic nuances of the Banana line.

Its main attraction lies in the diversity of aromatic expressions it can offer. The different phenotypes share an excellent resin production, but have different profiles that make it possible to find particularly interesting specimens both for consumption in flower and for the elaboration of high quality extractions.

Production capacity

Velvet Glue offers a medium-high production, developing dense and large flowers during a stable flowering period of approximately 60 to 65 days. Its excellent trichome coverage also makes it a very interesting candidate for extractions and concentrates.

Organoleptic properties

The aromatic profile is mainly divided into two phenotypic expressions. One of them develops intense notes of sweet banana accompanied by spicy nuances, while the other one leans towards more gassy and complex profiles, very appreciated by the fans of hash and genetics with a strong terpene personality.

The plants produce large, compact buds, completely covered with resin. Its abundant production of trichomes gives a shiny and frosty appearance that clearly reflects its potential for extractions. The structural uniformity also facilitates the management of the crop and the optimization of the yields.
