Verbena Funk 10 u. Reg Mamiko Seeds

Verbena Funk Seeds

What is Verbena Funk like?

Verbena Funk exhibits a marked Sativa influence during its vegetative growth, visible both in the morphology of its leaves and in its high growth potential.

However, during flowering, it exhibits a more complex hybrid expression, incorporating characteristics associated with heavy Indica genetics. This contrast between its Sativa-dominant growth and the Indica traits of the flowering phase is one of the most interesting aspects of this strain.

Its genetics combine the aromatic profile of Lucid Lemon with the structural and citrusy influence of Sour OG, creating a unique blend among modern hybrids.

Verbena Funk Genetics

Verbena Funk is the result of a cross between Lucid Lemon and Sour OG. Lucid Lemon, in turn, comes from the combination of Lemon Drip and The Pressure, two strains with complementary aromatic profiles.

The Pressure contributes a persistent, funky aroma of burnt rubber, while Lemon Drip introduces an intense citrus note. Sour OG rounds out the profile by enhancing the acidic and fuel-like notes associated with its Sour Diesel heritage.

This genetic combination aims to bring together intense, contrasting aromas with vigorous growth and a floral expression characteristic of a hybrid.

Aromatic Profile of Verbena Funk

Verbena Funk’s aroma stands out for its unconventional blend of burnt rubber, citrus, and funky notes.

The influence of The Pressure provides a penetrating and persistent base, while Lemon Drip introduces bright citrus nuances. Sour OG reinforces this aspect with acidic and gassy notes derived from its Sour Diesel lineage.

The result is a complex aromatic profile, where the freshness of the citrus contrasts with a dark, intense, and industrial-style base.

Flavor

On the palate, Verbena Funk combines tart citrus and fuel-like notes with a funky undertone reminiscent of burnt rubber.

The lemon undertones add freshness, while the influence of The Pressure introduces a deeper, more penetrating character. This combination creates a unique, intense, and lingering flavor, particularly appealing to those seeking profiles that differ from predominantly sweet strains.

Growing Verbena Funk

Verbena Funk exhibits remarkable growth potential, with clearly visible Sativa traits in its vegetative structure and leaf shape.

During flowering, the genetics express a distinctive hybrid character through the emergence of traits typical of heavy Indicas. This morphological evolution is one of the elements that sets Verbena Funk apart from other crosses with Sour OG.

Its combination of vigor, structural diversity, and aromatic profile is this strain’s main appeal.
