Yerba Santa Atado 8 a 10 cm.
Yerba santa, which includes Eriodictyon glutinosum and Eriodictyon californicum, grows in arid areas of California and northern Mexico. The fragrance of its sticky leaves, both sweet and bitter, helps to create a magical and mysterious atmosphere.
It is traditionally used in rituals of protection and purification, to release negative energies and to encourage love. It also serves as an offering to ancestors. It is said to increase courage and mental powers.

Description
Cultivation
Our plants are harvested both in natural areas and in cultivated fields. Whatever their origin, harvesters are legally authorized to do so. The process is simple: they cut the branches and leave the roots to allow future harvests. Exports are controlled by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture), which certifies that all legal and environmental requirements are met.
Plant growth depends on climate and annual rainfall. The size of the bundles can therefore vary from one harvest to another: a difficult season and less abundant harvests lead to a smaller bundle size. In drought years, the concentration of essential oils is higher.
How to use
This purification ritual is a universal practice.
1. You need a bundle of dried yerba santa tied with cotton, a feather or fan, and a heat-resistant ash bowl, such as an abalone shell.
2. Light the yerba santa inside the bowl, preferably with a match. Blow to stoke the fire and let it burn out. Watch out for sparks!
3. Sahumar: bring the smoke close to the people participating in the ritual. With the fan, direct it to the head, arms, legs, back...
4. Cleansing: go around the space to be purified with the bowl, dispersing the smoke with the feather or fan. Make it go where your intuition guides you.
Remember that the intention is the basis of any incense: if your heart is pure and your desire is noble, you will enhance its effects.
Ventilate after use. Do not inhale the smoke directly.
