Origin and genetics

Deedee is born from the famous French cutting Sour Diesel Riri, originally from Sour Diesel IBL of Reservoir Seeds. To stabilize its traits in regular seed format, French Touch Seeds applied the cubing technique, performing a triple backcross (BX). The male used comes from the cross Bubba Kush x Kikiriki, providing structure and aromatic complexity.

what is Deedee like?

It is a variety 75% sativa / 25% indica with vigorous growth and a remarkable stretch during flowering, reaching up to 2 meters in height. It is particularly suitable for techniques such as SCROG, where its expansion can be controlled and optimized.

During the last weeks of flowering it shows an explosive development, forming large calyxes with a voluminous structure. Some phenotypes can express traits closer to Bubba Kush, with more rounded buds.

Aromatic profile and taste

The aroma is intense and recognizable, dominated by a powerful blend of diesel and lavender, accompanied by citrus-lime undertones, especially noticeable during drying. Its terpene profile maintains the classic identity of the Sour Diesel with an additional depth inherited from the breeding work.

Effect

The effect is clearly stimulating, euphoric and active, ideal for socializing or creative moments. With THC levels that can range from 20% to 30%, it offers a potent and energetic experience, true to the reputation of the Riri cut.

Flowering time and cultivation

Indoors, flowering is completed in 75 to 80 days. Its production can reach up to 650 g/m² in optimal conditions. It is a genetics which responds well to experienced growers, especially in techniques of canopy control.
