Characteristics of cultivation

As an authentic tropical sativa, Thai Regular has a long flowering period of 12 to 16 weeks, developing in successive re-flowering. It stands out for its very high resistance to humidity and fungi like botrytis, which makes it especially interesting for tropical or humid climates.

Most plants maintain an intense green color until the end even at low temperatures, although occasionally beautiful reddish expressions appear. Around 10-15% of the population, more compact and robust phenotypes can be found, maturing somewhat faster (around 12 weeks), with denser flowers and better adaptability to indoor growing.

Aroma and terpene profile

Thai Regular offers an extraordinary aromatic diversity, with three main terpene profiles:

• Classic Thai profile: fresh, lemony, woody and spicy.
• Sweet and refined profile: creamy, floral and musky notes.
• Profile afresado: very minority (5-10%), intense and rare in Thai genetics.

Effects

The effect is markedly cerebral, clean and expansive, without heavy descent thanks to its chemotype rich in THC and practically null in CBD. This variety can express the full range of classic Thai sativa effects: from positive, friendly and revitalizing sensations, to more euphoric, nervous, psychedelic or introspective experiences, depending on the phenotype and point of harvest.

Genetic stability

Despite the historical reputation of some Tai genetics, this line has been carefully worked to guarantee sexual stability. Cases of problematic hermaphroditism are rare, which makes it a reliable pure sativa for experienced growers.
