Origin and genetics

Forged from a genetic base similar to that of Colossus, Magic Carrot integrates lineages from Thailand, Malawi and A5 Haze, to which is added the exotic Zamal, bringing tropical island sweetness and a more jubilant emotional character. The final cross between Zamaldelica and Neville's A5 Haze (NL#5/Haze A) results in a modern, complex and perfectly balanced sativa.

Structure and cultivation

It is a hybrid 80% sativa / 20% indica, with great vigor, strong branching and high yields. Although its genetics are intricate, it behaves in a surprisingly stable way. Indoors it can be controlled without great difficulty by experienced sativa growers, responding well to canopy management techniques.

Flowering is between 10 and 13 weeks, showing remarkable consistency despite its genetic diversity.

Phenotypes

Magic Carrot has two main phenotypes, quite balanced in frequency:

• Phenotype 1: Stands out for its excellent floral architecture, with large dense and very attractive colas, high flower/leaf ratio and a high-end fruity and floral terpene profile, accompanied by notes of incense and hashish.
• Phenotype 2: Slightly taller and sativa in size, with less compact floral structures and more wild and expressive terpenes.

Aroma and taste

Its aromatic profile is deep and sophisticated, combining tropical fruits, exotic flowers and dark nuances of incense and resin. A complex bouquet that evolves during curing and expresses itself with great elegance in combustion.

Effects

The effects are powerful, long-lasting and very well modulated. A dreamy and pleasant sativa psychoactivity predominates, accompanied by a happy and calm motivation, without nervousness or anxiety. The experience is completed with soft and healing body sensations, which makes it an intense but surprisingly balanced sativa.
