Description
African Gas – African power with explosive terpenes
African Gas is a vigorous polyhybrid that combines Bangi Haze (8th generation) with Neville's legendary A5 Haze (Northern Lights #5/HazeA). The result is a potent strain with a dominant structure and massive buds, ideal for those seeking intense aromas and a devastating effect.
Growing characteristics
With vigorous growth and an imposing structure, it features a huge central cola accompanied by equally large side ones. Flowering takes about 12 weeks indoors and concludes in late October or early November outdoors. It displays remarkable resistance to mold, heat, and pests, adapting well to latitudes from 0° to 43°.
Aroma and flavor
Its bouquet is one of the most intense experiences on the market: 30% of the phenotypes are dominated by a penetrating smell of flammable gas with nuances of solvent, leather, and foie gras. On the palate, the gas becomes even denser and more enveloping, accompanied by notes of humid peat, lemon, hashish, and wilted flowers. The remaining phenotypes feature citrus, floral, earthy, and fruity tones, with a similarly present gassy undertone.
Effects
The gassiest phenotype offers an intense and narcotic effect, with a warm and relaxing onset that leads to a dense and dissociative trip, long-lasting and of great physical and mental depth. The remaining phenotypes maintain a high potency but with a more cerebral and active dimension, ideal for those seeking a psychedelic experience without losing functionality.
Terpene Profile
- Monoterpenes: Very high in β-myrcene, with moderate to high limonene and variable trans-ocimene. Contains α-pinene, β-pinene, and linalool at low to moderate levels.
- Sesquiterpenes: β-caryophyllene and α-bisabolol at low levels, with variable presence of guaiol and trans-norlidol.
