Purple Thai, Feminized Seeds

Purple Thai comes from Thailand and is one of the oldest landraces. In its region of origin, it grows up to 4 m and has thin leaves and conical flowers with very long hairs. One phenotype has a purple sheen on the leaves and flowers, while the other has dark green leaves covered in trichomes. In Thailand, the hours of sunshine between summer and winter are not very different, so two harvests per year are possible in this region. However, the very heavy monsoon rains often prevent this, so these pure sativas are primarily grown during the summer.

Purple Thai is a potent strain with strong sativa effects. The high is a powerful, psychedelic, happy high. This landrace produces a very introspective high. It will satisfy those who enjoy marijuana for its mind-opening qualities. It's ideal for meditation, yoga, or any creative moment.

The dark buds of Purple Thai have an incredibly exotic, fruity, and berry flavor and aroma. The average THC content was measured at 24%. By selecting the strongest Thai mother plant and utilizing various specialized cultivation methods, Anesia was able to stabilize this high THC value.

Cultivating Purple Thai

Purple Thai has a flowering period of 11-13 weeks and can be harvested in late October/early November when grown outdoors. Therefore, in Northern Europe, outdoor cultivation in greenhouses is only recommended, so that autumn storms and lower temperatures do not harm the plants. The flowering phase should begin after 3-4 weeks of vegetative growth. Purple Thai thrives in SCROG and SOG grows. Growing in a green screen system provides enough space for the plants to expand to their full potential. This strain can be grown both hydroponically and in soil. If Purple Thai is left at lower temperatures toward the end of the grow cycle, the colors typically begin to turn much more violet in the shade, sometimes even blue. Mature plants grow up to 80-90 cm indoors and are filled with heavy, dark purple buds and orange hairs. Growers can expect a yield of over 500 g per square meter when grown indoors. Outdoor cultivation will produce yields of up to 1 kg per plant, depending on specific conditions, such as temperature and soil type.

Medicinal Use

It is very suitable for morning use. It is excellent for treating numerous ailments such as stress, depression and loss of appetite.
