Congo

Congo is a Central African landrace strain that we brought back from our travels in Africa. We feminized the genetics over two generations and selected the best plants over a long period of time to create this typical, original and stable Congo strain. Congo comes from the tropical rainforest near the equator and grows there year-round. It is a very tall-growing Sativa with a huge bud and few side branches. Due to its regions of origin with very humid and muggy air, it has a very strong resistance to mold and is not prone to parasite infestation.

Aroma and Flavor of Congo

Congo's aroma is very fresh, lemony, and has a fruity flavor of wild strawberries. This potent Sativa provides an energetic high of up to 4 hours and has a THC content of 18%. This strain has fairly thin green leaves and produces a good amount of dense, dark green or purple buds, packed with crystals. It has a high flower-to-leaf ratio and produces top-quality buds with an impressive, unique fruity aroma.

Congo Cultivation

Congo is suitable for indoor cultivation, but can also be grown outdoors if it receives sufficient sunlight. The flowering time is relatively short for a pure sativa, at 10-12 weeks. Outdoors, it can be harvested in mid-October. During the flowering phase, phosphorus and potassium should be gradually increased, starting from the third week of flowering. Congo provides a reliable yield of 500-550 g per square meter indoors, and even 750 g or more per plant outdoors.

When growing Congo seeds indoors, you'll need to prune the plants and use stakes to keep height growth under control. The plants grow tall.
