Palo santo
Palo santo wood is used as incense to cleanse energies and purify the environment. It comes from the Bursera graveolens, a tree from South America. To use it you must light the wood and then shake it to extinguish the flame. The smoke will spread its delicious aroma. Our palo santo comes from fallen trees and complies with the regulations in force in Peru (the wood of the Bursera graveolens tree is not classified by CITES).


California white sage
"What can a man die of who has sage in his garden?" This sentence from a treatise of the Salernitana Medical School (12th-13th c.) is significant. Sage is a medicinal plant whose name comes from the Latin salvare, to cure. It grows wild in southwestern North America, mainly in California and northwestern Mexico. Most of its properties are concentrated in the leaves, which absorb the sun's energy and produce a large quantity of essential oils that aromatize the plant. They give off a very pleasant aroma that brings a sense of well-being. Our sage is 100% natural cultivation, without fertilizers or pesticides.


Abalone shell
The abalone shell is a precious ritual object. By placing a little marmolina inside it, it can be used as a bowl for incense. Its mother-of-pearl interior has beautiful iridescent reflections. It is said to provide a feeling of protection, purity and balance. Abalone incense is said to invoke the divine force of fire and the spirit of water in an energetic cleansing ritual.


Instructions for use
- Place some marmoline inside the abalone shell.
- Light the bundle or holy stick with a match. Blow to stoke the fire and let it go out. Beware of sparks!
- Place the lit part of the bundle inside the shell on the marmoline.
- Sahumerio: bring the smoke close to the people participating in the ritual. With the feather, direct it to the head, the back, the arms, the legs...
- Cleansing: go through the space to be purified with the shell, dispersing the smoke with the feather. Make it go where your intuition guides you.
Remember that the intention is the basis of any incense: if your heart is pure and your desire is noble, you will enhance its effects.


Ventilate after use. Do not inhale smoke directly.
