Akorn is a feminized indica dominant Marijuana strain from TH that comes from the northwest part of the United States. It was imported by the bank in 1995.

Akorn was created by crossing African and Afghani genetics that stands out for its high yields, hence its name, since it produces long queues of compact buds looking like arms. You can maiximize its productions if using cropping systems or the SOG technique.

Due to its fantastic production of thrichomes, Akorn is ideal for resin extraction and perfect for BHO.

The effect of this strain is mainly sativa, energetic but bearable thus being recommended for any time of the day.

The plant is able of reaching a meter and a half on indoors and due to its sativa influence it has a very fast flowering period ranging from 55-60 days. It is also highly resistant to fungal attacks.

It reaches a maximum yield of about 600 grams per plant on outdoors, while in a growing room, its production can reach 500 gr/m2 in the best conditions.

Both the aroma and taste of Akorn are sweet and slightly fruity, skunk type with hints of spices and cinnamon.
